I am currently on holiday in the Peaks and will be visiting Chatsworth which I greatly looking forward to. I used to have a wonderful Brahma called Orlando who was tricky to look after but so sweet natured. I love reading of your hens, they are such joyful creatures.
A wonderful piece of writing Arthur. I love that you invest heavily in your flock, both with love and fancy kit. I can’t imagine how nerve racking it must be to send a precious egg through the post! I’m intrigued to see a fabric saddle, how on earth does it stay on? Long may the extra book cash continue. I think that photo Lady D and the pig, should be in the ‘Bible of British taste’.
